Overview

Retrofit Smart Lock ("we", "us", "our") respects intellectual property rights and expects users and content contributors to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (17 U.S.C. § 512), we will respond expeditiously to claims of copyright infringement on this site.

Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you believe that content on retrofitsmartlock.com infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to our designated DMCA agent at support@retrofitsmartlock.com containing all of the following information:

1. Identification of the copyrighted work — a description or URL of the original copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
2. Identification of the infringing material — the URL(s) on retrofitsmartlock.com where the allegedly infringing material is located.
3. Your contact information — your full legal name, address, telephone number, and email address.
4. Good-faith statement — a statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
5. Accuracy statement — a statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
6. Signature — your physical or electronic signature.

Our Response Process

Upon receipt of a valid DMCA notice, we will:

• Acknowledge receipt of the notice within 3 business days
• Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content promptly
• Notify the content contributor of the takedown (if applicable)
• Provide information about the counter-notice procedure

Counter-Notice Procedure

If you believe content was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice to support@retrofitsmartlock.com containing your name, contact information, the URL of the removed content, a statement under penalty of perjury that the removal was a mistake, and your consent to jurisdiction.

Repeat Infringer Policy

We maintain a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat copyright infringers.
